About us

In the global context we find ourselves in, where traditional politics have generated distrust and distance between citizens and the political sphere, at the Political Innovation Laboratory of Movimiento Ciudadano LabMC, we aim to rethink democracy and foster citizen participation and political empowerment.

LabMC is a multidisciplinary center dedicated to evidence-based research and the implementation of both digital and community organizing projects aimed at driving social innovation and, consequently, political innovation. We operate as a co-laboratory, designing, implementing, and scaling various experiments or projects that focus on specific themes such as democracy, digital governance, collective action, social fabric, digital social fabric, public digital space, leadership, among others.

The lab employs tools such as collective intelligence, artificial intelligence, network creation, among others. Our goal is to discover and co-design new forms of social and community organization alongside ethical and transparent practices that promote digital activism and mobilization both within and outside of Movimiento Ciudadano.

We aim to create a digital impact for citizens in the form of a citizen council connected with public figures of the party in decision-making positions, ensuring regulations that empower citizens in the digital area.

The advantage of working with a political party is that experiments begin with a considerable critical mass, a specific social interest, and a clear call to action. The opportunity of working with Movimiento Ciudadano lies in its vision to explore new pathways, with a commitment to generating a value proposition aligned with the needs of the citizenry.

Through the use of Artificial Intelligence and the Metaverso Naranja, we are implementing digital democracy and the development of public policies based on citizens’ experiences, needs, and perspectives. The Laboratory’s vision is to utilize Collective Intelligence to enhance community decision-making, increase social intelligence, and promote innovation within Mexico’s political and party system.

We envision a political party as a growing community that cultivates power as a tool for community well-being.

In the post-COVID era, Mexico, like the rest of the world, has great opportunities for change. It is time to design new alternatives for social and political organization that promote the common good.
